Temporary Changes in Department Advising Due to COVID-19
Advising is a vital support system for students at NIU. While the Department Office remains closed, current and prospective students and their families are encouraged to contact the appropriate Advisor through e-mail or through Microsoft Teams.The Undergraduate Advisor, Daniel Rogness, may be contacted via e-mail at drogness1@niu.edu. He may also be contacted via Microsoft Teams, similar to how "walk-in" appointments have been handled in the past. A large volume of "walk-in" calls may make connections difficult, so scheduling appointments with the Undergraduate Advisor is encouraged to ensure availability.

Monday through Friday 9:00 to 11:30am
Monday through Friday 1:30 to 4:00 pm
Except for Tuesday and Thursday mornings
