The Computer Science Department has historically
offered graduate courses at
off-campus locations, such as NIU Hoffman-Estates,
NIU Naperville, and the
Multi-University Center in Oakbrook, on a rotating
basis so that students could
complete their M.S. degree courses at one of these
campuses. Such offerings are dependent upon
sufficient enrolllments to continue the programs.
Note that courses for the
graduate-level Cybersecurity
Certificate
are regularly offered online, each typically
with only
three face-to-face meetings at one of our off-campus
facilities.
To register for off-campus courses, students must have either student-at-large or graduate status with the Graduate School at Northern Illinois University. After that status is obtained, students can register by phone or online.
