This class begins with a basic description of objects and introduces some of the built in objects and control constructs. Then moves toward creating classes and objects in C++. Labs and notes included.

Prerequisites: This course is intended for those with some prior programming experience with a high level language such as C or Cobol; knowledge of C syntax is helpful, but not required.

• flow of control, if, looping, functions
• arithmetic, type casting, pointers

Day 2 morning

• classes and objects

• friend functions
• error handling

• inheritance and reuse
